At the recent TP Link Partner Summit, our Solutions Director, Adam Monaghan, was invited to join a customer panel to share F One Technologies’ real-world journey with Omada by TP Link. The session, “The Customer View: Our Journey with Omada”, gave 150 attendees an inside look at how Omada has transformed the way we deliver IT and network solutions.
Adam spoke candidly about the challenges we faced before Omada, working across three different vendors for WiFi, switching, and routing, with slow procurement and limited support. This not only caused delays but also made network management unnecessarily complex. The tipping point came when support from a previous vendor failed to meet our needs, making it clear we needed a partner who could provide integration, simplicity, and direct support.
That’s where TP Link came in. Omada’s cloud-managed SDN platform brought everything together: WiFi, switches, and routers into a single, easy-to-manage system. Procurement became faster and more cost-effective, while TP Link’s team gave us direct access to support and even acted on our feedback to develop new products for the UK market.
For our customers, the difference has been just as significant. Faster deployments, fewer support tickets, and more reliable networks mean we can spend less time troubleshooting and more time helping businesses grow. A standout example is Eastleigh Football Club, where we delivered a managed Omada solution that now supports thousands of fans on matchdays, powers new classroom spaces, and enables branded guest WiFi that boosts the club’s marketing.
Reflecting on the journey, Adam highlighted how the partnership has changed the game for F One and its customers: “Omada has become our go-to solution across WiFi, switching, and routing. The reliability, simplicity, and support from TP-Link mean we can deliver more value to our customers while scaling our own business with confidence.”
Looking ahead, F One is exploring TP Link’s CCTV range and the next generation of innovations, including WiFi 7 and AI-driven features, all with the goal of helping our customers stay connected, secure, and future-ready.
